Baby Black Mex Mex

Jlassiter Nov 27, 2009 09:43 PM

I was taking some archival pics of my Black Phase Mex Mex pair so I decided to share them since this forum is all but dead lately......

The female is the dark red one with a meal in her.....

I really like that female; thick black and dark red is a nice combo. I can't wait to see them darken up. Are they 09s?

Yep...they were both hatched this year....One early clutch(male) and one late clutch(female).....I can't wait to see them darken up either....
Both from black parents...So odds are they will be nice ones.

Dude, beautiful pair of snakes! I am sooo obsessed w/ those! It's a pity I'd have to get rid of stuff to get a pair.

Very nice, John. How long does it usually take for them to darken?
I really like the pair that you "used to have".

It all depends on their growth rate......Usually at one year of age you can see which one is going to be the darkest.....
