If a Pewter can occasionally reproduce itself when bred to a normal, does it follow that a Super Pewter will always do so?

If a Pewter can occasionally reproduce itself when bred to a normal, does it follow that a Super Pewter will always do so?
A Super Pewter if bred to a normal would produce normals, pastels, and either Black Pastel or Cinnamon depending on what was used to create the Super Pewter. For another super Pewter you'd have to breed him/her to a Pewter or Sterling or Silver Bullet or Super Pewter.

Oh, that makes sense. Was the rest OK?

You can make a Super Pewter, or a silver streak I think is the other name for it several ways. You just get better odds as you go down the list. Sterling = Super Pastel Cinnamon or Black Pastel and Silver Bullet = Pastel Super Cinnamon or Super Balck Pastel
Pewter x Pewter
sterling x Pewter
Silver Bullet x Pewter
Super Pewter x Pewter
Sterling x Sterling
Sliver Bullet x Silver Bullet
Sterling x Silver Bullet
Super Pewter x Sterling
Super Pewter x Sliver Bullet
Super Pewter x Super Pewter would make all Super Pewters.
I don't feel like figuring out the percentages, sorry. But that's pretty much the break down how to make them.
Actually a silver streak is a super pastel black pastel, basically the black pastel version of a serling, completely separate morph from a super pewter.
Sorry, I meant sterling, not serling
.
I think you guys left out the pastel in the mix.A silver bulllet bred to a pastel could reprodue itself.Terry
That would be a super Pastel super Cinny x Pastel correct? How could you get a Super Cinny? Each animal has to be at least a Pewter to make a super Pastel super Cinny right?
If you are saying a Super Pewter = Super Pastel/Super Cinny or Super Black Pastel when bred to a normal you'll get 100% pewters.
No super pewters will be produced when bred to a normal, only 100% pewters(which I still would love to have!).
It's the same as breeding a super pastel to a normal. You'll get all pastels, no chance of supers from that breeding.

Thanks, Tom, yeah my question was poorly phrased -- what I was trying to get at was does super pewter x anything = at least pewter every time. I just wasn't sure whether what holds true for the super of a co-dominant morph would also hold true for the super of a double co-dom, when the double was one of those that could reproduce itself. Hatched out two super pewters and a silver bullet, and now trying to figure out how many to keep. Thanks to everyone for their feedback...Dave
No problem. Wow! You've got a lot of great options there!
Good luck with them,
Tom
