Mexican Burrowing Python

I know it may be taxonomically incorrect, but this is a common name it goes by, so I started this thread here. It is also known as a New World Sunbeam snake and Loxocemus Bicolor.

I have been having a lot of difficulty finding breeders on the West Coast and so I was hoping someone could give me the contact info for a breeder? Through all my searches I've only found one breeder in MO and one in TX.

I think we have spoken once or twice on Fauna, I've only come upon two other breeders. Stan Grumbeck of SnakRoom.com and Bill Becker of the Central States Serpentarium. I know I once came upon a post made by a lady on Redtailboa.net about her loxocemus, and aswell I came upon another ball python breeder whom had only one female loxocemus(Ken McAlexander
of Ballpythoninvestments.com), I'm more than sure there are a handful more out there.. I recall Gus Rentfro had a pair, and he would produce babies almost yearly. Keep your eyes peeled

Good luck

Global captive breeders has 3 males too, but they were asking $400-$450 last time I checked.

Sounds like a fair price. It seems females are the really hard to find commodity. I've been looking for quite a while. Males seem to be the only thing out there.

Used to be, these were barely pythons.

I've seen them for sale in the past ranging from $90 - $325, so I find $450 to be quite pricey.
