Full???

I have a leopard frog, and he will eat whenever we feed him. Will he stop eating when he is full? Am I feeding him to much? I feed him 3 crickets every other day, but when ever we find a lose cricket in the house we feed it to him. Is that OK. Should I feed him one less cricket the next time I feed him?

What else can I feed him besides crickets. If I were him I'd be board of them.

Thanks,
Cyclone Girl

I would vary the diet with more than crickets first off. The feeding sounds good. You might want to allow a little more time for the food to digest...like feed every 3 days or so. Better the frog go a little hungry than get too fat. What you did not mention was size of frog and size of crickets. If the frog overall looks healthy and fit, then I would not worry about it. If the frog is taking on a fat appearence, cut back on feeding a bit. Andy

Thank you for your help. He is small and about 1 inch long, he is still a froglet. I feed him small crickets. What should I vary his diet to though?
Thanks,

Try mealworms, half of a nightcrawler, waxworms, ect. Andy
