O/T- So breeding season is among us and I normally stress out! What pairings, will they go, will I hit the odds, & on & on! Well, our English Bulldog was due for puppies Tuesday. C-sections are necessary with this breed so the breeding's are carefully planned. Unfortunately Mother Nature has the upper hand and sometimes does things her way! My female bully began early stages of labor Saturday night and had an emergency C-section Sunday morning! Wow, haven't slept in over 2 days! This was our first time and talk about stressful! Our Bully is part of our family! We got to see the effects of the drug Propovol (the anesthetic Michael Jackson may have died on). Our 50lb bulldog was out in about 3 seconds! Thanks a ton to Bob Pitt (Owner of Sire and my breeding mentor) and Deron Loevenguth (Produced my female and wealth of knowledge)! Both people are reptile people that I had met at our local reptile show over 10 years ago and are now great friends! Just like our reptiles, great breeders offer great continued support! Enjoy the pics! 1st pic is Jazmin out and prepped for surgery, 2nd is one of the little boys! These have incredible pedigree's and will be amazing!
