I'm guessing that the majority of you use newspaper or paper towels : ) I haven't decided what type of substrate I'm going to use in my new snake cage. I want something that is easy to clean and not uber expensive, but I really don't want to use newspaper and since these cages are going to be 4x2 I definitely don't want to use paper towel. I usually use shredded coconut products but these cages aren't really designed for display as much for ease of cleaning.
So I've been giving these products some thought and wanted some input -
Reptile Carpet - I know most people hate this product but I'm thinking it would be easy because when it would be in 4 sections across the cage and I would have a couple extra pieces so I could just rotate the clean pieces in and then throw the dirty ones in the wash.
Shavings or Care Fresh - I would prefer to use Care Fresh over wood shavings but it's my understanding that they create a problem when it comes to maintaining humidity. Anyone use Care Fresh? Pro's or Con's?
Any other recommendations?
