Some more Bullsnake pics?

RichH Dec 01, 2009 08:18 PM

Anyone have some pics of those big yellow bulls out of Texas. Miami Co. Axanthic and normals. Adult Axanthic pics as well. I've only come across 2 thus far. My new favorite, Kankakee Bulls as well as any other bulls anyone deems unique or fond of.

Yeah, I like pics

Thanks Dan, nice mix. Knocked out two of the three I wanted to see with the adults. Keep us posted as the hatchlings come of size.

Thanks. I should be producing them from two different females this year. I don't have a current pic but the one pictured is the mother to the second female that I'll be using this season. She makes her mother look pale! This pick is from a year or so ago.

Take care,
Jeremy

Good looking adult. Is the high contrast typical into adulthood?

Jeremy Pierce Dec 05, 2009 01:56 PM

This animal pictured is an adult that I hatched out in 2004. I have several of her children that I kept as holdbacks and all look similar to her, if not better. This is one of her daughters from 2007. The pic is a year or so old. She looks even better now.

Take care,
Jeremy

how about these......

multiple locality breeding (Kankakee, Kingsville, Stillwater)

I was going for a contrasty, colorful look......

These little bullsnakes have a "black and gold" look. They soldout at Daytona this year so hopefully in a year or two someone will post images of a grown one!

RichH Dec 02, 2009 04:25 PM

Yeah, I would call those different. Only 80 miles North of Daytona but stopped hitting the expo 4 years back. I hope to hit 3 Florida shows next year as well as 3 others outside of the State. Be interesting to see how they look at maturity. I know my wife would like this mix though, being from Pittsburgh and all

KevinM Dec 02, 2009 08:26 PM

Hey John, the head shot looks kind of like E. carinata IMO. Just send them ugly suckers my way and I will dispose of them properly for you LOL!!

KevinM Dec 02, 2009 02:46 PM

Not sure I have seen a normal Stillwater bull. All I can recall are hypos.

RichH Dec 02, 2009 04:26 PM

That's me with normal Miami Co. Kansas bulls. I can not recall ever seeing one.
