Love the parvs, love the San Jacinto mtns. I am intimately familiar with certain areas of those mtns.
Wild parvs are often so much thinner than captives. Yours is a good example of how they can get robust in captivity.

I never been in Zonata country but I bet it would be very special to encounter one those gems in the wild.

I have a representative pic here. This spot is actually quite high in elevation, but apparently a few zonata have been found this high up. Fun to look around even if the chances are slim. Rocks are all granite. Rodent burrows abound. Fun fun fun.
