Good thinking. And Gartersnakes too.
...and hoggies too.
....this is a topic that has appeared here before. Just my opinion, but for those of us who work with and love this group, we already know that they are special animals and will always be, regardless as to whether or not they have their own classified section. Those who don't know what we do either will someday learn about them or be all the poorer for not exploring this genus; hopefully the former will occur.

It would be a very small section in relation to most other classified sections. IMO pituophis have never had the mainstream following as other herps have. We may be very interested in them but we pale in comparision with the likes of kingsnakes, corns, boids and some other types that are being kept by herpers.
Based on the past two months of postings, I probably have most pituophis posts memorized. Only because most of those same posts are still there.
We are an elite group. Fine with me. Lucky though we even have a forum, which BTW is one of the smallest and slowest on Kingsnake
Now Rich...if you want to talk about ssllooww...try the indigo forum...grass grows between my toes before one makes a post there.
Dan
Really, they have their own forum?

Yep, the Indigo people have their very own forum...and it's got feces smeared all over it
...sorry, couldn't help it
As someone who happens to keep both..I can assure you I think they try and out dodo each other!!!
Dan
That's really bad....but oh so true!
Your wish is my command. I just placed a new post on the indigo forum of pics from a co-worker of a pair he found on his hunting lease in Georgia. Head on over and check them out.
and THAT was an awesome set of pics! Wish there was video of that!
