Is it dangerous to ship a ball python out on fridays? Do breeders normally not ship this day?

My brother works for ups and he says they ship all the time on fridays and arrives sat by 10:00am the plane doesnt stop for ups or fedex and he been doing this 22 yrs

People don't generally ship on Friday because overnight Saturday delivery usually isn't cost effective.
Unless specifically requested - I don't even ship Thursday (for Friday delivery) just in case the package gets held up somewhere the snake doesn't have to spend the whole weekend in a box until Monday.
Just wait until Monday.

We never ship up against the weekend, especially during the holiday season! Too many things can happen-almost all of them bad....

Shipping Monday through Wednesday, Next Day Air, gives you the BEST chance of success.
Shipping Friday for Saturday, even with the Sat Delivery surcharge, EXPONENTIALLY increases your chances for a missed Saturday delivery, which then pushes the package to Monday.
Not all addresses offer Saturday delivery, Saturday is often an End of Day delivery time guarantee, and over 15 years, I have learned the "don't ship on Friday" lesson, a few times, the hard way.
It is not a good choice at all.

Not dangerous at all... I ship 7 days a week with same day arrival. Delta DASH! The fastest method, period. Yes, they have made errors at some point and with that said, all shipping methods are prone to errors. I always ship first flights from Tampa and have never had a major issue in 12 years using them. MUCH faster than all the other carriers and better in my opinion.
