I called all six senators on the list and I faxed them as well. What else should I/We be doing? Who else can I call/fax? The HSUS, PETA, etc?

How can I help? I am scared to lose my hobby, my animals and part of my livlihood!

Do everything again, every day...donate money to USARK as they need funds to pay the Lobbyists they hire to fight for our rights to own, sell and trade boids.

A little further down somebody posted hearing on the radio President Obama wants to hear from the people of anything happening which they are against...these three bills are a prime sample of that. Bombard the White House with calls, emails and faxes...heck if anybody lives in the capital and there's a public press conference and large signs proclaiming the need to protect our hobby. Peaceful demonstrations certainly wouldn't hurt...PETA and those other animal rights groups form protest groups all the time...Organize with your friends and reptile organizations etc. just keep things peaceful and non violent. And dress business casual...neat and well grooms, so people can see its not just punk rockers and bikers who own snakes.

Reaching beyond the 6 key senators would be a start. If you look at the post I made earlier in the week it lists the full committee. Also reaching out to your state senators and telling them HELL NO WE WONT GO, but nicely.

PETA and HSUS are pushing heavily for these bills.

I suggest keep calling and lodging your opposition to this legislation as it seems this one is the one that may move forward.
