Well I got my rodents in today. Yay. Always a fun day in my house, considering I have 6 cats! Well as usual, "angel", a.k.a. mouse breath, got a hold of one of the big rats intended for my BT. Of course it got away from him and darted behind the Indicus cage! Good grief. So im on top of the cage with a broom trying to scare the thing out...NO luck! Talk about frustration! Meanwhile my BT is also trying to scramble back there because he was out cruising when it happened and saw the whole thing! So picture it, a cat on one side, the BT on the other, and me on top with the broom. Do you think that rat was comming out? Then I get an idea...how bout I drop my Burm back there? Sure enough within seconds of getting the scent the Burm was wrapped aound that rat lickity split. I heard one squeak and that was it. I usually frown on feeding live rats, but I think this is one of those time where I didnt feel so bad making an exception, and my burm slithered away unscathed, so it was def a win-win. Of course my BT seems to think otherwise!

Remember the little rat I told you about last night that escaped in my room? Caught that little beast at 3 am this morning!!!!!! It to was caught behind a cage. I don't have the animals on each side just me and a piece of wood. I set the wood against one side and braced it then too a clear plastic critter keeper at the other end set something on that. I began to laugh when the rat saw me and began to squeak at me very angrily and very loudly.
One the little beastie was captured I cracked it over the head, made sure it was dead this time, then tossed it into the Finschii cage.
Not quite the excitment and fun of your adventure but still comical especially the obnaxious squeaking.
Just thought I'd share that. Thanks for the bugs too!!! They love them and you for it!!!!

Well, Im glad you caught the little bugger! So the crix werent too small then? I threw like 17 mice in there, so hopefully they munch a bunch of em too.
You were right about the Indicus. They were'nt even phased by the re-arrangement. Theyre right back to bulldozing, basking, and chowing down rodents.
Well I gotta get to Chem lab, but Ill try and give you a ring tonight, theres something I forgot to tell you. Youre not going to believe it!...or actually you may, come to think of it. I almost threw up when I heard.

Talk to ya latter, miss girly girl!
