VEGGIES FOR BTM?

BRICKZ Dec 07, 2009 09:21 PM

I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A PAIR OF BLUE TREES FOR MONTHS NOW. I HAVE 9 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH MONITORS, BUT TODAY IN THE CLASSIFIEDS THE OWNER OF A 2.5 YEAR OLD MALE BTM SAID HE FEEDS CHOPPED VEGGIES WEEKLY. HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER HEARD OR PRACTICED THIS? I HAVE PUT IN COUNTLESS HOURS OF RESEARCH TO PREPARE FOR MY NEW PROJECT, BUT THIS IS THE FIRST I HAVE EVER HEARD OF MONITORS AND VEGTABLES. ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED

When I was doing research for my btm's I came across a source that mentioned feeding banana to gtm's. Unfortunately, this was months ago when I read this and I couldn't direct you to the source. I would think gut loaded insects would be a better alternative.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. If you email me I will let you know where I got my pair of btm's from. I don't think I can mention the name on the forum. Both are parasite/mite free ch imports that are very well acclimated.
