John, you are keeping us entertained here lately!!! Love it. I really like the hypo-e female with the two long stripes on her neck.

Thanks Joe...I really like the Hypo-E trait....
It is cool watching a gray and red snake turn to gray and pink in under a year.....
Something is strange with Mex Mex....
Even the black phase hatchlings are normal looking....and darken with age.....It's kinda like owning two different snakes with Hypo-E and Black Mex Mex......
My 2008s are PINK.....
Here's what they look like now.....

And here's a pic of them early this year....Notice the male is already showing some lightening at this age....As you can see above the female eventually lightened up as well...From maroon to a pinkish red color....She still has some more growin/lightening to go...

This is the one from the original post.....She is looking great....But the male below has more striping......I think his red will turn to pink by summer....We shall see...

Here's what they looked like when Shannon sent them to me a couple months ago...As you can see compared to the pics above the female is lightening up good....

Thanks Michelle....
They are both looking better than when I first got them....
The female has darker red saddles and the same belly pattern as the two (1 is Shannon's, the other mine) adult black males I have here.....Hre ground color has darkened some as well...

The male is showing an early darkening of the ground color...

They should be impressive adults....Like these....

low 50's in the garage, I have the racks set at 60 degrees on the hot spot. Last few days have been in the high 20's in the mornings outside, 50's in the afternoon. There all down for the winter.
