The nose scale on my gopher is really dry. It looks like it is gonna peel. It is not raw or bleeding just very dry, almost cracked. She is not in shed phase either. What can I do? Her mouth is not inflamed or sore. any help is good.

Any chance the scale was left from the last shed? Does it look "loose".
