Time for grass roots action

Since the Humane Society seems to be the most well known opponent of our Pets, hobby or industry. We should organize and picket our local Humane Societies. True story.....A couple of weeks ago, a handful of tomato pickers picketed the local Pulblix Super market. They felt Publix wasn't paying enough for their tomatoes. It was in all the papers. The media lovese this stuff. The two main groups to organize with are local herp clubs and petshops. I'd be willing to bet that many petshops, which carry exotics, have no idea what is going on. The picket signs could read, "All pets have rights", "Humane society wants Ball pythons illeagal", and "What's next, Dogs and Cats". I'm sure there'e more. Absolutely nothing offensive! Organize, pick a date, and alert all local media about it. What would be really great if we could organize nationally through the internet and pick a date to picket Humane Societies across this great nation. Bob Potts

You local "Humane Society" has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Human Society of the United States. That is because HSUS specifically and deliberately used the name they did to mislead the masses into thinking they had something to do with helping animals and helping animals you your community. HSUS does not care for any dogs, cats or any other animal anywhere. They deceive people fraudulently taking their money and spending it to pay off, in the form of political contributions, the politicians they have in their pockets. Your local "Humane" society cares about animals. The HSUS wants to force you, with the power of the government in your face, to give you your animals. Big snake today, little snakes, geckos tomorrow and dogs and cats after that.
