Giant Meal Worms

webster Sep 18, 2003 06:51 PM

Hi
I normally buy meal worms 25 at a time because I only have one gecko and I don't like having them around the house. Now I can only get them in hundreds. They are in a plastic container with air holes and I think they arein bran. What do I do with all these worms??? Keep them in the fridge? Feed them?
Thanks for all you help in advance!!!

Well,
If you only have one gecko, then I would keep them in the fridge until you feed them and then put it back !

You know, that's not actually a bad thing to have to stock up. I'm not sure about giant mealworms, but mealies can last for awhile when they are refrigerated.

Yeah, just keep em. I only have 2 leos & I buy mealies 500 at a time. They last me about a month. Also, I thought they were in bran as well, but everyone tells me it's just fine sawdust, so don't forget to gutload.
