Out of mere curiosity....

This question may not be favorable to a lot of die-hard alterna fanatics but what's of this hypo-E alterna?

I appreciate and understand varying opinions as to 'personal' aesthetic preferences and frankly do tend to lean more to appreciating a 'natural' phenotypic representation of a given locale or generalized ssp. Though admittedly I also lean toward triangulum so it is what it is there... I also appreciate some morphs. I feel that qualifying things well may lend itself toward some genuine answers. So I apologize for writing a mini-essay to ask a mere question or two.

I hope to garner some opinions from this forum as you guys are well fanatical (complimentary I assure you) to say the least sometimes and am just inquiring as to the legitimacy of some the animals from the leucistic line being called hypo-E's? I am asking based on the collective experience of some of the keepers here as any anomalies/abnormalities would be better speculated upon here as I've pretty much exhausted my own speculation on the matter. I defer to the experts...

Thanks for the time,
Chris

Chris,
I honestly dont know. It is difficult enough to find locality for regular animals let alone leucistics or hypos. All you can really do is ask for the "story" from the breeder and then reach out to some folks here to see if they can help verify it. I wish you the best of luck.

Happy Holidays,
