ZFelicien Dec 12, 2009 09:52 PM

Anery Male: Very clean Black and White!

Anery Female: More cream colored animal then the male above

Snow Female: Sibling to the two above, looks like "sulphur snows"

Sire to the snakes above:

"Pink" Snow: this girl is pretty blue, guessing the axanthic influence.

Hybino: Hate this pic... love the colors!

Ghost (het WS)

Ghost (poss het Lav)

Speckled/Patternless Ghost (in shed in this pic):

HET "Peanut Butter" male: Amazing how much this snake looks like a PB

Aberrant "Peanut Butter" Female: Slow starter, but she's a beast now!

Hypomelanistic 2x het Axanthic & White-sided

"Jelly" x Flame Hypo Male

"Jelly" x Flame Hypo Female: ABSOLUTELY LOVE this animal! Prefect in every way!

Xtreme Flame Male: NO HYPO HERE Snake speaks for itself!

Same Snake as a Hatchling:

Xtreme Flame Female: recent addition

Sulphur Male: Brandon Osborne's animal (NO HYPO HERE EITHER)

Lastly one of the coolest looking snakes in my collection: Bullseye Blaze Phase goini

Thanx 4 looking

Zenny,
If you are calling Floridana the "dark side".....
I would have to build another wing onto my house if I got back into them.....LOL

If/when I do, I think I will just get a few pairs of Multi Het Floridana for some variable clutches....I love variability....That's why I breed Mexicana....They are the funnest to watch hatch....

Thanx Randy... i have no clue what's going on with these yet... but i hope it's a morph thing not a line bred thing.

Zenny, nice snakes and I too particularly like those flames. How big are those and what did the parents look like? Looks like it could be the E gene....

ZFelicien Dec 15, 2009 03:04 PM

Thanx Jeff,

The founder Female looks like a "normal" florida kingsnake for the most part. you can see little hints of above average color here and there and the eyes are a bit red/orange. These "X-treme Flames" are 3rd and 4th generation line bred animals from Flame x Anery and Flame x Lavender... so it could simply be just a really cool line bred or it could be a HYPER mutation at work with the Flames AND the Sulphur... in time i'll know more.

cool pics of cool snakes zenny... so Xtreme Flame is not hypo? youve bred the Xtreme Flame to hypos and got normals??? same ? with sulfer? arent there differant hypos in floridana to? if so have tried them?
so if its not hypo melanism must be hyper erythrism huh? is hyper a recessive or co-dom thing?
really cool

Thanx Thomas,

Flames have been bred to Hypo and have produced normals, and i've got Hypo-Flames from this line.

I bred Sulphur x Hypo... got all normals that look nothing like their sulphur father so there may be more going on with the sulphur i have on loan as well.

Funny you should say HYPER because that is what i'm thinking with these!... I've got a lot more breeding trials to do before i can figure them both out. As far as how they work... i'm still not 100% clear if it's a recessive or just a really cool line bred trait.

Hypo-Flame from line in question

Zenny that snow that looks like a sulfur snow is KILLER! I have two of them from Tom A. and Ill have to post some pix when I get a chance to take some. Exams this week but over the holidays I will take some. That extreme flame blows my two out of the water man, and I have never seen a bullseye blaze before that one and it is freakin sweet! MAKE MORE OF THEM!!!

ZFelicien Dec 15, 2009 03:06 PM

Thanx Jeremy,

I hope to see lots of cool stuff in the coming seasons!

I've got finals this week as well so i know what you mean!

The bullseye popped out of Tom A. Blaze pair... hopefully i'll get a chance to breed her back to her dad and see what happens!

Good luck with your finals!
