Runny Nose?

Ppk Sep 18, 2003 07:29 PM

How come my sav Jango's nose will run a little bit? He doesn't do this often, I am just a little concerned and worried. My iguanas used to do this. What is it?

I really can't point you in the right direction on this one, but will try my best. If I saw my albig with a runny nose, I might dry the enclosure down a bit and have the basking spot ready for him -her, ANYTIME she wants it. Which I always do. It'd be good for you to do the same, even though electric bills will go up, its worth it. If this doesn't help, then take it to your vet, to help it. I hope other, more seasoned keepers will give you advice and help you, on this matter. I'm sure they will give you better advice on this. Best of luck!

No its definately the moisture then. I keep re-moisting his soil daily and I've been soaking him daily (to aid in his shedding). Since hes changing tanks on saturday (YIPPEE!) it should clear up. Thanks.

I saw a runny nose once. The cage was too cold for too long.

Just a guess.
