Air Plants

Bdimas Sep 18, 2003 07:37 PM

I just ordered some air plants, and I think I remember reading somewhere that the leaves should'nt get wet or they will die. Or does the plant just need some time to dry out?

Thanks

They must have ample time to dry out or they rot. I usually only mist mine twice a week and they do fine. (in high humidity of course)

As the last post said they will rot. They do need to dry out between misting. You can speed up this time with good ventilation. Alot of people use small computer cooling fans. You would need at least two holes that are screened. And a fan would sit over one of the holes.
