Give us time to skin our snakes!!!

EvilMorphgod Dec 16, 2009 04:26 PM

Florida's senator Bill Nelson says that they would give us time to kill and skin our pet pythons!!!!!!

YoSemite Sam would say "Easy stomach, Easy......" and then I think he would shoot him!

Ok, imagine the OUTRAGE if he said something like this to fancy dog breeders.... You know, the ones that we see on TV at the dog shows....

"We will give you time to kill your dogs before we make them illegal. Don't worry, your canine pelts will keep people warm and make SNAZZY FUR COATS!"

Just imagine what the general soft and furry public would say!

These people do not get that these snakes are the same kind of thing to us. They have personalities, they are not some monkey wrench you pull out of a tool box.

I will tell you cats and dogs are far more dangerous to our environment and to us than any of our HERPS!!

If you are speaking to comments made during the S373 committee hearing.
Those comments were in reference to the Fashion industry Skin trade
Making these snakes illegal under the Lacey act affects the fashion industry
No more Python skin boots purses , pants etc.. purchased and
worn across state lines.

If not yes that is an ignorant comment from Sen Nelson
