Not even 100 people signed in the state of Florida where there are thousands of boid owners and hundreds of breeders? There is less than ten in my state (New Jersey) who signed the petition. Well with this type of support, the bill will most likely pass. Here's an idea. Since most of the local reptile shows around here in my area (ie. White Plains, Hamburg, etc..) usually attract a thousand or more participants maybe the sponsors should set up a computer with wireless connection and give a small break in admissions price to the people who come to the show and are willing to sign the petition? This would make sense as the passage of this bill will invariably prohibit out of state vendors on bringing their boids to these shows and will invariably decrease the vendors which in turn will decrease the attendance of the shows. Just my humble opinion.
