I've had them 2x in the past 13 years. One treatment with NIX and the little sob's never reared their ugly bloodsucking heads again. No soaking, litter change, or habitat disruption; just remove water bowl for 8 hrs or so. If it ever happened again, NIX will get the call. Never had side effects for the two snakes treated; one BP, one nigritus.
