Im going to take my approx 2-3 year old male leo to the vet for the first time next week. He has not been eating so I thought I'd better take him for a check up. This is the first time I've taken him to the vet. I phoned every vet in town and I have made an appointment with the most experinced reptile vet. Besides the obvious questions about his eating habits what other things should I be asking the vet? Also what is a fair price for a leo check up. I think I'm going to be charged $52 Cdn.

it depends on what the vets asks you. there really isnt much you need to ask him, unless he perscribes something, then you need to make sure you understand it fully. 52 sounds right, for me its like $30, but im not sure how much it is for my appointment, since they did it for me for free.

$52 Canadian is close to $30 american, so you are good as far as that goes. I'd bring a stool sample with you as well, he may ask for it. So, you like hockey? I just got back from the Trasher's preseason home opener. Those hosers better not let me down this year.
