Pinkies are newborn baby mice.

I believe MOST people feed thawed out frozen pinkies/rodents.
Pinkies would be harmless to your snake I would think, if you fed live...but much bigger, and more mobile could cause a problem for your snake from bites.

Pinkie mice are newborn to a few days old. So called because they have not developed skin pigment and are pink in color. Length is roughly an inch; thickness around a quarter inch or a bit more depending on age.

Some snakes will take pinkies readily. Others require scenting with fish slime. Others won't take pinkies at all. Only way to find out is to try and see what happens.

I get live fish from a bait store. Others get rosy reds and other feeder fish from a pet shop. Prices vary from store to store and state to state. Prices are also affected by size and sometimes number purchased. You will have to do your own comparison shopping. Good luck.

i meant to ask if the pinkie mice are live or dead, and approximetly how much the mice are, not the fish.

Pinkie mice can be purchased either frozen or alive. Local pet stores and rodent breeders will sell them alive. On line ordering is generally for frozen. Prices vary from place to place.

I kill the pinkie before giving it to a garter. The garters I've kept don't constrict or have much in the way of venom. As the snakes can't kill the pinkies themselves, I do it for them.
