First this is not a new idea. There are guys in Europe that have built the entire enclosure out of it, no framing just extruded polystyrene.
That being said it is still very un-conman, and I loved the video thanks for posting.
I myself toyed with the idea but silicone and other sealers don't stick so it made me a little uneasy to try. I use have used this product a fair amount and love the workability. Again sealing has its issues but there are newcommers out there with stuff that is amazing.

Did you use solid lumber for the frame? If so has it warped at all? I myself use Ply in place of dimensional lumber....a lot and its resistance to warping is amazing. Just something to consider.

I guess great minds think alike. Yes (1X2's) I carefully choose each piece making sure to get the straightest ones with no knots close to the edge either. I've built plywood ones but man are they heavy.
