My Bar Neck Scrubs are now copulating for the second time this season after a 3 day separation/hiatus. It was posed to me that my 11' female is "on the cusp" of fertility/suitability size-wise.
My question is what factor does age count in relation to size? A Scrub can theoretically be "power-fed" to 11' in a few years. I choose a slower growth rate. As I got her as a 3' snake 5 years ago its taken quite awhile for her to attain 11'. In the scarce literature I've found on breeding Scrubs size seems to be the focus w/little or no mention of age..thoughts?
