Leo Not Eating

BeArDyCrAzY May 25, 2003 03:25 PM

My 2 year old leopard gecko hasn't been eating lately. The crickets just pass her face and she doesn't seem to pay any attention to them. Also her stools are significantly smaller than they used to be. Can anyone give me advice on what is wrong with my gecko, I would really appriciate your help, THNX!

She might just want a switch in her food. Leos can get bored with just one food Item, so if you go buy some mealworms or superworms she might take some of those. if that doesnt work, then she might have parasites and in that case she would need to see a vet. How do her stools look, besides the difference in size??

Well i have tried to switch her food, I've tried feeding her mealworms, butter worms and silkworms. Her stools look the same, just smaller.

My 4 year old gecko has not been eating for about 2 weeks. She ignores the crickets and when I hold mealworms for her to eat she turns the other way. I am also looking for a solution to the problem but haven't found an answer. I have called vets in our area, but they tell me that that I can bring the gecko in but they are not exotic animal experts.
