Dec. herping in Palm Springs

AndyH Dec 23, 2009 08:45 PM

I took a trip with my family and girlfriend down to Palm Springs last weekend. I was just getting over a case of the flu but still managed a partial day of wandering around the mojave desert (Joshua Tree area).

No snakes, but there were a coulple cool lizards.

AH;
Thanks for kindling the urge to get out. Unlike parts of Calif. and the southern states, my season generally doesn't begin until some time in Feb. although about every 4th or 5th year, we sometime get suitable conditions for finding snakes and lizard during January here in NW Oregon.
