Do snakes have STD's?? I am thinking about picking up and adult rat snake to breed to my CB Male and was thinking about it. I don't want to buy some hussy that'll give my boy the clap but seriously Do snakes carry and sexually transmitted diseases?

I don't think there are any known snake diseases that are only sexually transmitted, but any other diseases the snakes have will probably be transmitted during courtship. So it is a good idea to make sure that the potential mate is disease free.
