Thanks again for your help with this.
1. My first question is about caging. I've found a 4 x 2 x 2 in which we're planning to keep an adult pair (when they've grown up.) I can have light fixtures installed. I was going to either put in fixtures for 2 2ft fluorescent bulbs and one or two incandescent fixtures. Will I need 2 incandescent fixtures to heat that amount of space?
Should I have 2 fixtures with a little space in between anyway so each dragon can bask away for the other?
I will not use any type of under tank heat per the suggestions of you and most of the websites I've found.
2. This one's about genetics. I understand genetics well from my boas, but am trying to figure out how these traits work in dragons. Is there any good literature on this?
From what I can tell:
hypo is simple recessive
translucent is simple recessive
leatherback is dominant? (what are the differences in the types (italian, etc.?)
leucistic-simple recessive?
Of course you go to combo,designer morphs from there, but are there any other morphs?
