Very cool Marcel!, Do you have any history on him?
I've had a few dark ones just like that many years ago from western Broward county, Florida, but they can certainly have that similar phenotype in other areas as well.

No,
All I know is that he is 5 years old. He came with this female:

I do not think she is a Florida King though. She is about 140 cm (close to 5') and very black. No fainting in the coloring. She looks like a californiea - splendida - nigrita mix LOL..

Ah, okay.
Yeah, that female seems to be a composite lineage of any of those you mentioned for sure.
Some nice big healthy snakes bro!

Osceola/Suwanee type to me. Could be the real deal, or a Florida crossed with an eastern or Apalachicola king.
Yeah, it really does look more like any of those possible combo's than it does 100% floridana to me as well. Nice big robust one whatever the case is.

I agree. I do not think it is a pure Floridana. I normally do not like mixes. But this guy makes up for it with his sheer size. I will not breed him eighter to stay away from confusion

I really like the Apalachicola kings. They are however hard to find for sale in Europe I guess. So I will have to do with this guy. I have never heard of the Osceola/Suwanee types you mentioned. I will google for some info on those. Thanks.
