pewter?

This snake was from a pastel to black pewter breeding. Never hatched pewters before, but this seems light for a black pewter.
It has yet to shed it only hatched on the 25th. do they normally darken as they shed? or is there any possibilty it is a silver streak?

Thanks for the answer, I thought thats probably what it is. Some just seem alot darker than others that I've seen pictures of.
