mightybd Dec 28, 2009 05:26 PM

My girl was unseen for almost 3 months, she came out 2 days ago.
I bumped temps to 80

for some reason the second half was not posted.

She has a very mild appetite, and I am wondering if this is normal, and that she just needs to get her appetite back.
a few pieces of greens, and 4/8 supers offered has been eaten.
Water has been offered and taken twice with a dripper.
Stools cleared pre brumation.

is it normal for appetites to be low for a few days after brumation? she lost 19 grams in 3 months. 649 to 630g.
Thanks

I wish I could edit posts, i noticed now that the post was cut mid sentence.

I'm confused? Is there a question to your posts?

When they come out they should experience normal temps. (105 basking) and summer day length (14 hrs.)

Females may not eat while they search for a mate. But offer live and salad daily.

She used to eat anything i put infront of her, but she has not eaten much in the 2-3 days she has been out...4 supers and a few pieces of greens.

Supers are offered at noon before i goto work, and greens are left in the cage all day.

It is a hard question to answer as every dragon is different. For example I have a male that brumates much longer then any female I have. As long as your dragon is healthy overall and you are providing proper husbandry then everything should figure itself out.
