I noticed this problem starting about a month ago, but the ventral scales seem to be dissolving. This problem is only occurring with one of my snakes, but I keep them all on the same bedding from the same bag. Also this is only happening on the anterior ¼ of her body.

I keep her in a 20 long with aspen shavings and a water bowl. She is very active so I’m hoping it might just be rubbing from the glass or screen top to the cage.

Any ideas are welcome.
