Some of MY Pyromelana...

Jlassiter Dec 30, 2009 04:00 PM

Since we were on the subject of Pyros earlier I thought I would post a few pics of mine.....

I have:
1.1 2008 L.p.pyromelana from Bob Bichler
1.1 2009 L.p.knoblochi from Shannon Brown - Candy Cane Line
1.0 1998 L.p.knoblochi from Ric Blair via David Weymouth

I hope to be adding some Zonata next year to the Mountain King collection......

Very nice John. I really like the one in the fourth photo. Bright and clean. Wonder if anyone has ever been bitten by a pyro? They seem to be the nicest snake on earth.

Thanks Joe,
They are great all around snakes.....None have ever tried to bite me and they have a strong feeding response......It doesn't get much better than that....

"Wonder if anyone has ever been bitten by a pyro? They seem to be the nicest snake on earth."

This wild caught bit me many, many times. I usually refrain from naming snakes, but she was known as Chomper. Of course she was the exception to the rule. I cant think of any other time that I have been bitten by a pyro, captive bred or wild.

Greg

BTW- Nice pyros John!

Todd,

She's a Santa Rita pyro, you know the same locale that some of those reduced black lines come from. The canyon I found her in has alot of high black and/or abberant animals.

Soon as the weather clears up I will be the proud owner of a nice new group of pyros myself. It's like Christmas is still coming.
