I currently have my collared lizard in a 30G breeder and am going to be upgrading her to a 40G breeder sometime in the next month or so. I'm thinking about including a medium sized waterfall feature inside of the tank, but not entirely sure yet because of mainly 2 things: humidity and substrate. The waterfall will most likely increase humidity which is something I'm not entirely sure will be a problem, but I don't want it to be too humid and lose the 'dry heat' that I have for her right now with a single water dish. Also, I'm a little concerned about sand in the tank and it getting into the pump that will push the water onto the waterfall. I can probably come up with some way to minimize the effects as I have with the waterdish I have in there right now, but not entirely sure. Any thoughts on this project? I'm looking to make something pretty spectacular for her and top the one she is currently in right now.
