Feeding help!

sourhaaze Jan 01, 2010 09:55 PM

Just bought a new young male pastel recently online, he has been very aggressive, striking at everything, have had him for about 5 days now, had a rat pup in his cage for 2, he doesn't seem to be interested in it at all, so my question w ould be if he was started on mice, would he not be interested in a rat?

Just leave him alone for a week or two, which means don't handle him and don't try to feed him. Sounds like he is pretty stressed out. Make sure he is comfortable and has good hides. Then you can try to feed him. If he was started on mice, I would continue on mice for at least a couple feeding, then you can try rats.

Good luck.
