No need to search for a book when I know people personally that have some nice W/C yellow floridana from Brevard County.

But Chris, there is no doubt there are some here and there, just like many other places in Florida, but they probably aren't seen as often as they were some years ago either, just as is reported by many other field herpers.

I don't get in the field very much anymore, but I would LOVE to capture my own Brevard locality floridana.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

of pure Floridana should go up to around Daytona Beach on the east coast. Unlike most of Florida, Merritt Island still has kingsnakes.
