Not the regular collard lizard and maybe not as pretty, but he's my little dork. He's a Guyana collard lizard.

Nice lizard, I like spiny(Sceloprus). It looks like a Yarrow's spiny.

No, it's actually a Guyana collared lizard (tropidurus hispidus.) I'm new to this particular forum and want to make sure I'm in the right place with him.

Wow! A Yarrow is VERY similar. I didn't realize. I guess the Yarrow just has spinier scales. And the Guyana doesn't have any blue underneath. Nice looking lizard there! Looks a bit like my Emerald swift. Thanks for posting that.

Males are gorgeous aren't they? My female is gravid now, I'm looking forward to seeing live birth, hope I'm there when she has them. Eve
