The Sumatran Waters dominate the imports, they are a full size animal, you should expect 6ft , and they are also the prettiest of the commonly available Waters (most color and pattern).

We are not actually carrying them anymore, LLLReptile.com probably gets the best selection at this point...

LLL Reptile just got in a new shipment of babies actually. They're pretty stinkin cute.

I heard you guys were upgrading/moving your facility and wouldn't have babies available until next year. Is that the case or are you no longer carrying them period?

I talked to Chad about this recently in an interview on UrbanJunglesRadio.com

I hope that you guysget back to working with this species although I respect the reasons you've decided not to...

I have a long term internal conflict with selling the giant lizard species. We stopped selling the giant snakes years and years ago.

A full size, healthy, gorgeous Sumatran Water is an incredible creature. But for every 10 babies that we sell, how many are properly cared for, get appropriate sized caging, get mental and physical activity and exercise, and live to 20 years old?

Not many, I think. I don't want to sell reptiles just to sell reptiles, ya know?

Will we sell baby Waters again in the future? Perhaps. Do I have even a nugget of a timetable or plan. Nope.

You're right, of the many, many babies I've sold (even incredibly outgoing and inquisitive babies), I can think of one customer who still shops at the store and routinely tells me how they're doing. Hard after you spend time working with an animal to never know if it really did well or not.

Don't get out of it completely - I'll be getting a house in the next year and I want one of your babies!
