going to get on a waiting list for a pair of red ackies in a couple of months done hundreds of hours of research and read all of 2009 related forums and others will setup 20 long way in advance to get it right for babies will get temp gun also read some where that sand/soil not good for babies when is good time to move to sand/soil perm enclos how big are they when you get them read someone say thay had big male how big is big male what size f/t mouse can they eat on mouse day talked to proexotics on phone once very helpfull sorry for the long post just exited to talk to people that know what they are talking about thank you for reading

A good soil is a fine substrate right out of the egg.

We feed thawed mice, crawlers and hoppers, and chop them up bite sized about halfway thawed, and then portion it out as needed.

Our adults average in the 2 ft range (total length) and I have seen max size approaching 3 ft, but that is very unusual.

thanks for the quick answer trying to do the homework on this but dont seem to get to many good answers from the local pet or reptile places would love to here anything from anybody else
