A slew of Trans-Pecos hatchlings...

dustyrhoads Jan 05, 2010 03:40 PM

...that showed me they had enough of photos for one day when they started to slither off like this.

In this photo are Green Blonde, Mustard Blonde, Normal, Orange phase (actually a Het for Extreme Orange Blonde), Normally Patterned Silver/Axanthic, Silver/Axanthic Blonde, Albino Blonde, and Snow. Most of them hatched around the holidays.

Nice! But I don't think I'm supposed to be looking at internet porn while I'm at work. LOL>

That mustard is sweet and so is the orange normal. Lots of color in that pile.

Thanks, I've always loved the big hodgepodge variation photos and have wanted to do that for awhile. It is such a rush of the senses to see that many colorful snakes in one picture. Can anyone think of another ratsnake species with such amazing silvers and natural yellows and oranges?

That is a beautiful pile o'snakes. I wish I had that pile at my house! Good job Dusty.
