Just some random Adult E. King pics

Every now and then I like to share pics of this girl. She's a SC locale and 13 years old. My mom is taking care of her for me since I am away from home for a while, and she snapped 4 pics and e-mailed them to me today as a nice surprise. She was about 54" long 3 years ago when I last measured her. My mom doesn't exactly take her out so forgive the flawed pics thru the glass, but I wanted a place to share these for a few others to see!

I really like her pattern along her jaw line. Looks like huge monster teeth to me. Enjoy. I miss this girl she is a super aggressive feeder, but otherwise a nice lap snake. She almost rivals a ball python's laziness and will just sit on your lap and look around.

This one is my favorite, shows off her nice fat head and black and white contrast.

Great looking Eastern! Love Easterns too, have a pair of SC Easterns. They can be like big puppies resting on your lap or hands. Here is a pic, they have grown much since then.

Thanks. She is a big old girl I will take some pics this summer when I get home again. It's nice to have a big old kingsnake that curls up in your hands and likes to just hang out.

Another olllld pic of her from the days of her hanging out at college parties gettin' passed around!

Thanks man, gotta admit it, as much as I love a lot of florida/brooksi kings, I really have to say good classic Eastern's are my favorite.

HaHA! I love the idea of the "lap snake". Just hilarious. Too bad I don't have any snakes considered that calm... Nice girl!

mattcbiker Jan 05, 2010 08:45 PM

haha yup, thanks. She is a character though for sure. I used to her bring her out at parties and make her chase a f/t mouse around the floor in front of like 10 people. Then she'd chase me around with her mouth open and I'd have to wait for her to calm down before holding her again

Man, you need to REALLY thank your Mom!! I know mine wouldnt have taken care of any of my herps back in the day regardless of where I was or what I was doing LOL!!!

mattcbiker Jan 05, 2010 08:35 PM

For sure. I am gone on military leave, and no I don't even live with my mom back home. She actually offered to take care of "queeny" since she likes her since she has seen her grow up since I was 16 when I got her. I bought her a laptop for Christmas she deserved it!

A couple older pics from a few years ago... can't wait to get some more pics of her when I get home in June.

Really nice example of an Eastern King, Matt. Her contrast is really beautiful. What sized aquarium is she kept in?

Awesome king Matt. I really think your mom should take that beast out, get over her snake fears, and snap some more pics. Just not if she's been handling rodents LOL. Of course I'm kidding. My girl friend wouldn't even get close enough to be able to snap a pic of a snake in a cage.

yeah you know how it is! My wife still will not hold any of them.
