What I would like to see

kirby Jan 05, 2010 06:03 PM

Since I have to sell my collection there are some projects I was working on and going to work on that I hope to see other people do.

One of the projects I most am interested in is using Arabesque and Longicauda animals in breedings with T animals. The reason for this is that these animals naturally get blacker with age. I was going to work with Arabesque and the anery Longi's with the Nic T to start with since I think the NicT has the best purple melanin color. I would be interested to see if the baby T anery longi's would come out with the purple color and get increasingly purple with age corresponding to the natural increasing melanism. I would do this with the VPI T also.

I would breed VPIT ,NicT and Boawoman caramels with type 1 anery boas. It would be interesting to see the different purples in the different anery T 's. I produced the anery jungles to use in this project because I wanted to see the different T anery jungles and super jungles.

I would breed the VPIT , NICT and BW caramel with blood boas to see the different appearances. These would then be bred with the blood jungles I was already working on.

I would breed the VPIT and the nicT together. I would not be looking for a paradigm. I would hope to create an really unusual double reccessive animal with the purple color from the nic and the light color from the VPIT

I would breed a number of colombian morphs with Nic T animals. I think the Nic T could make some outstanding combination morphs that would be much more colorful on a Columbian background.

I would make blood snow boas in Sharp and Kahl strains. Seeing how white the Orangasm moonglows are I think the blood could be even whiter.

I would make the Snow Leopard. I think the lavender color in the snow would look great in a leopard.

I was going to breed the Colombian Motley Leopards with the VPIT to see how light I could make these animals.

I was hoping to make a boa that looked something like a Granite burmese python. I thought a a jungle Leopard was where I would start.

I would work do more crosses. I always wanted to breed a Peruvian with an Arabesque. I think the ink black in a Peruvian would make an amazing Arabesque in the first litter with the wright parents. I would breed Bolivians with several different morphs. I had aquired a very reduced patterned one to breed with the blood boas.

These are the projects I had planned to work on in this decade. I look forward to seeing what everyone produces and wish everyone the best of luck

it is terrible to know that you are going to stop working with your boas. You make some of the best and most beautiful morphs out there period. It really hurts me in my heart to know what you are going through and makes me angry at the same time. I have a boa from your hypo jungle line from 2006. He is the best I have ever seen, really wacky pattern full of color. I was told he is possibly het for kahl also. He came for Joe at stripeboas.com. Man I could go on and on about the top quality animals that you have produced but I will save that for another day. If you are getting rid of the projects you are working on you need to make sure they get into the right hands so you can see them completed and made better over time. I know I speak for a lot of people out there when I say you will be missed for a long time. My hats off to you mr. kirby. Your a legend!
