I was thinking about the seminar I will be holding next month, with the humane society and animal control agencies througout Michigan. I am completing a work book, which will be handed out at the seminar. If any of you would be interested in this workbook, let me know. I will provide with the cost, which will be the costs of each to be printed (not looking to make money). The individuals coming to the seminar are paying to cover the print costs.
The workbook is arranged as follows
introduction and overview of author
Chapter 1 - Species
Categories and sub categories
Differentiation of species photos
Chapter 2 - Biological structuring
Basics-eyes, ears, nose, mouth, etc...
Chapter 3 - Humane capture techniques
Chapter 4 - Handling of captive crocodilians
Chapter 5 - Housing
Space
Essentials
Temperature requirements (broken down for each species)
Chapter 6 - Feeding
Photos are black and white
It's not a major novel or the definitive journal, although in the rough draft is over 40 pages.
I am finishing it because there basically haven't been any such workbooks to give to animal control officials, that I have found.
let me know and i will get back with you on the costs
