Most people don't know the trueth behind the HSUS, maybe it would be a good idea for someone to make a printable flyer short and sweet to expose what the HSUS truely is and what they do. that way we can post it on the billboards in local pet stores and hand them out to help inform others so they dont waste their money donating to them.

A facebook group against HSUS would go a long way. Facebook is definitely one of the most widely accessed public networking sites in the US.

Stop the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) - 13,000 current members
PeTA and the HSUS: The Truth - Only 59 current members, but it's a different approach
Pet Owners Against the HSUS - 820 current members
The groups are out there and joining them will only help spread the word about HSUS (since all of your friends and family will be able to see the links after you join - like a viral campaign). However, starting a group that not only targets HSUS but also Senator Nelson and any other backers of this bill would be a good idea also. If Florida residents were aware that their Senator Nelson has been involved with supporting and taking contributions from groups that associate with known terrorists (PETA) they might "lean" on him a little more to do something a little more productive with his time in "service" to his state and country.
