We can all pinch the HSUS here and there. Even if it doesnt make a large impact, atleast in quantity it can.
Here at the store we REFUSE any debit/credit card with HSUS as the sponsor on it. With the cute puppies and kittens on the face of the card, we refuse it and explain why. We have had four people voluntarily change their card to a new one, on their own accord, and we proud to show us that they did.
We simply say if you buy this rat with that card, you will be putting mopney into them, and they do not want you to own their snakes. They do not help shelters or rescue dogs or cats. They just collect money. Nothing more. They pay themselves executive fees, then the rest after that goes to advertissing to get more moeny. Simple as that.
So find a way to put a small pinch on them, whatever you can do.
I am jsut glad a tiny percentage of money is not going to them anymore.
