New Bullsnake (normal) 5 months

mattcbiker Jan 08, 2010 01:43 PM

Stillwater x Patternless parents, I just received her this week. She is from Brad Chambers and an August 09 hatch.

She is a beauty, very curious, and very tame. No hissing but has rattled her tail a couple when I have to slide her out of her hide box. Eats out of my hand.

She seems to have been growing well, and I'll keep that going!

I really think the "normal" bulls sure can be lookers! I like the eye stripe, darker blotches and contrast around the tail especially.

Thanks for viewing!

Matt, I could not have said it better myself.

I think normal bulls are just as beautiful, if not more, than flashy albinos or piebald this and that. Just my opinion. To me, like you mentioned the contrast, I love how there is so much to see when viewing normal bulls, in terms of their pattern, and how it changes so much going from the neck down to the tail. The contrast on well-marked bulls, especially on the tail, is very sharp, and something I completely find mind blowing, to say the least.

Great looking bull!! Congratulations!!

Thanks. I never considered getting anything other than a natural patterned bull, although I did look at Northern Pines for a bit, but don't especially like how they look as adults, although some are really handsome for sure. I had a Kankakee locale bull a few years ago, and my new girl is similar, but not as dark of course. I really like her background colors, especially where it develops into an orange near the tail with really crisp blotches. I really can't wait till she's huge too.

and the good news is that the traits you like about him now will only magnify w/ size.......:>]

Yeah that's what I am excited for. It's great that she is calm and easy to handle. So that is a good start to a snake that will hopefully grow to 7 feet.

I post pics frequently as she grows up. She's going to need a new enclosure soon... I know that much!
